Dear Friends of The CMIC,

As we conclude the CMIC Golf Classic tournament, after 17 successful years, we would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all past and present committee members who have worked so hard to make this tournament the huge success it has been. We would also like to thank all of the golfers and their spouses, as well as our valued sponsors and the staff at the Bell Bay Golf Club for their many years of commitment to ensuring that this tournament maintained the high standard that has been established over the past 17 years.

The collection, preservation and promotion of Celtic Music and culture through education, research and performance continues to be the Celtic Music Interpretive Centre’s mandate and priority. All funds raised by the tournament through the years enabled this work to continue.

After 17 years of running the tournament, we are now focusing our fundraising attention on the Celtic Music Centre Endowment Fund, in the hopes that it will provide a source of long-term sustainability for the CMIC for many years to come. The fund was established through the Community Foundation of Nova Scotia in 2015 with generous lead gift from Dr. Tom Rankin.

If you, or someone you know, may be interested in supporting the CMIC by donating to the endowment fund, gifts may be made through the CanadaHelps website or contact us at 902-787-2708 for more information.

We thank you all for the many years of support!

Sincerely,

Willie MacIsaac, Golf Committee Chair
Cheryl Smith, CMIC Executive Director
